Congratulations! You just took the first step towards getting a new job.
You should receive an email confirming the appointment you just scheduled. Be sure it’s on your calendar, and contains a link for our Google Meet call. (You can use this link even if it isn’t convenient to talk via video.) We’ll spend about 30 minutes getting acquainted, which will give you a chance to ask questions and me to assess how I can create a proposal for services that will help you achieve your goals.
Before we meet, please do these two things:
Click this email link (or reply to the appointment email) to send me your current resume (no matter how old or out of date – no judgment!)
Word preferred, PDF is fine, Google Docs also work
and
Connect with me on LinkedIn. If you don’t have a profile, just let me know (we can fix that!)
When we speak, I’ll provide a high-level critique of your resume and talk about ways in which I would approach improving it, and your LinkedIn profile, so that your career marketing materials clearly tell your career story, reflect your body of work, and position you to pursue your dream job.
In the meantime, you may want to browse my blog! Here are a few posts to get you started:

Explaining gaps in your work history
How much historical detail should I include on my resume?
I’m looking forward to connecting with you! Thanks again for reaching out.
